Quince & Co. is a hospitality group founded in 2003 with the opening of Quince restaurant.

Originally located in Pacific Heights, Quince moved to Jackson Square in 2009, with sister restaurant Cotogna opening next door not long after. Our little corner of Pacific Avenue serves as the homebase for a wide range of projects, including restaurants, events services, and other creative endeavors.

Proprietors Michael and Lindsay Tusk are curious individuals, always seeking to evolve and innovate while providing an exemplary experience to their guests. As such, we continue to find new avenues for offering exceptional food accompanied by genuine hospitality.

Quince

Quince is the flagship restaurant of Quince & Co. Featuring an ever-changing menu that celebrates the rich offerings of Northern California, Quince embodies Chef Michael Tusk’s enduring love for culinary craftsmanship, influenced by his extensive journeys throughout Italy, France, and beyond. Awarded its third Michelin star in 2017, Quince proudly joins a select group of just 14 restaurants across the nation with this esteemed recognition. Despite its ascent to a global dining destination, Quince remains true to its roots as a family-operated establishment.

Officina

Overlooking Columbus Avenue and City Lights bookstore, the space adds a new dimension to one of San Francisco’s most culturally significant corners. Officina, Italian for ‘workshop,’ functions as exactly that during the day: a test kitchen where Chef Tusk will develop new recipes and explore new techniques. In the evening, it opens its doors as a lively setting for intimate private parties and unique ticketed events featuring guest chefs from around the world. Host your next gathering with us.

Verjus

Located on Washington Street at the base of the iconic Transamerica Pyramid, Verjus is a cave à manger. Loosely translated to mean ‘eat in a cellar’ in French, Verjus presents a hybrid concept that encompasses a “bar a vin” (wine bar) and adjoining “cave” with a wine shop and conserva bar. This is an accessible, informal, at times raucous drinking and dining experience - a high-fidelity atmosphere, one full of gusto, spontaneity and excitement.

Verjus is currently available for private events and exclusive use.
